Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Morgan International Community School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in diverse cuisines, and the ability to create exceptional dishes for our school community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality meals for students, staff, and events according to established recipes and dietary requirements.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, budgeting, and ordering supplies.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high standard of food quality and safety.
• Collaborate with nutritionists to develop healthy and balanced meal plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef with a minimum of 5 or more years in culinary roles.
• High national diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food safety regulations.
• Leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate effectively with other staff members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing menus and dietary needs.
