Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Business Analyst within the Bank’s Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a critical role in supporting and improving project and program management processes and ensuring the successful execution of the Bank’s initiatives. You will be responsible for analysing business needs, identifying opportunities for process enhancement, and facilitating the efficient and effective delivery of projects. Your expertise in data analysis, communication, and project management will be essential to drive informed decision-making and optimize project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
  • Process Analysis: Analyse existing processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement, increased efficiency, and alignment with best practices.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyse project-related data to derive insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Documentation: Create detailed project documentation, including business requirement documents, process flow diagrams, and use cases, to ensure transparency and clarity throughout project lifecycles.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the PMO and other departments, building strong relationships with project teams and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and report on project outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and issues that may impact project success and work with portfolio managers to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality control and assurance efforts, ensuring that projects align with established standards and meet business objectives.
  • Training and Support: Assist in the development of training materials and provide training and support to project teams and stakeholders on project management processes and tools.
  • Tools and Technology: Utilize project management and analysis tools and software to enhance data collection, reporting, and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a project management environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools).
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) and/or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently.
