VACANCY FOR AN AUDIT SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:

An Audit Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records within an organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and execute audit plans based on the organization’s risk assessment.
• Coordinate audit activities with other departments and teams to ensure efficient and effective processes.
• Perform detailed examination of financial records, internal controls, and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive and clear audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and management responses.
• Communicate audit results to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
• Review the reports by evaluating the financial and operational records
• Make recommendations for improving the operational procedures, streamlining of the auditing project by decreasing the turnaround time
• Reviews the audits and ensures their quality, accuracy and its conformance with the policies of the department.
• Documents and evaluates the performance, provides feedback and maintains the reports.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards that may impact the organization.
• Ensure that the organization is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Stay current with developments in accounting, auditing, and industry best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A BS degree or business administration degree is the minimum requirement.
• A professional certification in audit, a CPA or CIA certification is definitely a plus.
• Should have at least 3 years of auditing experience with preferably a focus on (AML) Anti-money Laundering and financial crime prevention.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
