Vacancy :  Assistant Safety Manager
Location : Tsopoli (Tema – Aflao Road)

Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
2. Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks.
3. Organize and deliver awareness programs on health, safety, and environmental issues.
4. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for HSE management systems.
5. Monitor the implementation of procedures, guidelines following regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
6. Coordinate HSE activities across departments or projects to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
7. Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
8. Record and analyze HSE performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
9. Liaise with regulatory authorities and participate in audits and inspections.
10. Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Requirement
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE coordination or management roles
2. Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
3. Relevant HSE certifications (CSP, CIH) is an added advantage.
4. Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Experience with training delivery.
5. Strong commitment to safety & environmental protection. Attention to detail & organizational skills.
