VACANCY – ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL DUTIES
- Processes supplier and other payments in treasury software and Sage.
- Undertakes monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
- Undertakes cheque and cash lodgments.
- Reviews and books all cash related expenses in accounting software.
- Books all bank related payments against appropriate supplier’s account.
- Agrees individual invoices booked in sage software with treasury payments.
- Agrees end of month cedi cash in hand balance in sage with treasury report.
- Supports with monthly stock counts.
- Properly files completed invoices accordingly.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
- Possesses a minimum of an HND in Accounting or its equivalent with evidence of continuous professional development or 1 to 2 years working experience in an Accounts role.
- Proficient in Sage-ERP and relevant accounting applications.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices.
- Able to analyze financial records.
