Job Description:
We are recruiting for a construction and engineering firm located in Achimota and are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and management of our facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including maintenance and repairs
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors and service providers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure standards are met
- Prepare and manage the facility budget
- Address and resolve any facility-related issues or emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance and repairs
- Implement and monitor energy efficiency initiatives
- Manage facility-related projects and renovations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of facility management and maintenance processes
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Proficiency in using facility management software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager) are a plus
