VACANCY FOR AN AUDIT SUPERVISOR
JOB SUMMARY:
An Audit Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records within an organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and execute audit plans based on the organization’s risk assessment.
- Coordinate audit activities with other departments and teams to ensure efficient and effective processes.
- Perform detailed examination of financial records, internal controls, and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive and clear audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and management responses.
- Communicate audit results to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Review the reports by evaluating the financial and operational records
- Make recommendations for improving the operational procedures, streamlining of the auditing project by decreasing the turnaround time
- Reviews the audits and ensures their quality, accuracy and its conformance with the policies of the department.
- Documents and evaluates the performance, provides feedback and maintains the reports.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards that may impact the organization.
- Ensure that the organization is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay current with developments in accounting, auditing, and industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A BS degree or business administration degree is the minimum requirement.
- A professional certification in audit, a CPA or CIA certification is definitely a plus.
- Should have at least 3 years of auditing experience with preferably a focus on (AML) Anti-money Laundering and financial crime prevention.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
