Qualification/Experience – Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) preferably in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 2 years working experience in a similar position

Job Description

The job description includes, but not limited to the following;

 – Help manage the hotel’s vehicles, drivers and all related issues

 Update management regularly on fleet status, performance and expenses

 – Ensure that all hotel vehicles are properly repaired, when necessary, and follow a well-established preventive maintenance plan

 – Develop, establish and maintain control measures for keeping costs within budget and for preventing wastage and losses

 – Ensure excellent driver behaviour and excellent transport services to guests

 – Prepare weekly and monthly reports on vehicle logs, etc.

 – Actively participate in the recruitment of new drivers and their orientation and training

 – Participate in the activities of the hotel’s drivers (i.e., transporting people and goods)

 – Ability to handle and manage stressful situations well

 – Excellent planning, organization and multi-tasking abilities

 – Knowledge in fixing minor vehicle issues is desirable

 – Ability to drive with a valid driver’s license (minimum Class C)
