Health, Safety and Environmental Officer needed for urgent recruitment

Job Description

1. Assist in Induction of new workers and toolbox meetings.
2. Assist to Ensure safe excavation activities, entry into confined spaces, working at height, hot works, lifting operations, coordination of KUO technical team on a daily basis;
3. Assist to ensure safe systems of work are adhered to
4. Help to Provide safety training to KUO customers and staff
5. Help to perform safety induction at the sites
6. Assist to Prepare safety procedures for customers.
7. Help to Prepare QHSE policies
8. Assist to Prepare Risk analysis and assessment
9. Help to Identify occupational hazards
10. Assist to Promote a healthy QHSE culture
11. Assist in the Promotion of active worker participation in the implementation of safe work systems
12. Assist to Prepare onsite safety reports
13. Assist to Work on asset registry and keep it updated
14. Help to Monitor vehicle movement forms to ensure compliance and report any faults to the logistics manager
15. Help Prepare risk assessment and safety check for all new sites and send report and recommendations to the Administrative Manager and also to the logistics Manager where there are costs involved
16. Help organize weekly visits to the sites
17. Assist with Quality and other administrative tasks
