About the role:
We are looking for a qualified strategic HR Business Partner who is ready to join an organization that is making a meaningful difference in Africa. The HR business partner will oversee all human resources operations and ensure they’re aligned with our business goals. Our ideal candidates should have solid experience with HR practices and employee management.
What you’ll do:
Partner with business leadership to identify and address organizational needs, including implementation of proactive coaching and development programs and career progression frameworks
Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose the underlying issues and build the case for change with stakeholders. Build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risk, potential scenarios and options to mitigate.
Collaborate with managers and leaders to plan for employee lifecycle events, such as promotions, compensation and job levelling or banding, and for employee success within their careers
Design and implement initiatives and programs requiring HR knowledge and skills, such as Team building and effectiveness interventions, compensation philosophy and employee engagement efforts
Build case study for effective HR system implementation, drive continuous improvements in tools and policies through external market trends, insight and internal best practice.
Drive consistency of approach across the company in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future organizational needs.
Work closely with employees and management to build morale, improve working relationships, and increase retention rates as well as productivity
