Job Brief

Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing employee safety in the factory.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) policy.
• Ensure safe working environment and put in measures to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Advise employees on various safety related issues.
• Enforce preventive measures.
• Prepare accident report and keep record of all accident on site.
• Coordinate with maintenance team on repair works, installation and other works that threatens safety needs.

• Ability to conduct risk assessment.
• Ability to identify safety bottlenecks and offer solutions.

• Knowledge of EPA safety requirements.

• Strong adaptability and ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Good communicator.
• Analytical and self-motivated.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in a similar position preferably in a factory.
• A bachelors degree in a related field with a recognized professional qualification (Nebosh or IOSH)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications preferably in Excel.
• Fluency in English (Written & Oral).
• Candidate must live around Tema and it surrounding areas.
