Job Description

Vodafone Ghana_ Commercial Performance Analyst (Contract)

Role purpose:

To provide the Enterprise Business Unit with business and commercial insights and value-added analysis with the sole aim of driving the unit towards overall business objectives.
The key responsibility is to be an integral part of performance measurement in supporting commercial decisions and driving revenue growth and profitability for the sales team.
The performance measurement includes service, and non-service line revenue performance analysis, market insight analysis and assessment, customer insight analysis across all dynamics of customer life cycle management, incentive management and forecasting for the business unit

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
▪ Prepare and present comprehensive SME business performance reports as and when needed (proactively and reactively), identifying key behaviours in trends and variances and recommending corrective actions
▪ Define templates and metrics to periodically (daily, weekly, and monthly) track and report SME sales and revenue performance by product and segments against expectations. This must include that of sales executives, Team leads, HV account managers, regional managers, and Head of SME.
▪ Manage the generation of performance report that feeds into computation and pay out of Incentive for the direct and indirect teams within the SME space.
▪ Collaborate with internal and external departments to ensure consistent and reliable data is available for analysis and reporting, including identifying, investigating, and resolving any issues effecting data integrity.

✓ Insightful with the ability to view a problem from different angles using analytical approaches
✓ Attention to details whiles retaining sense of the big picture
✓ Easily adaptable and able to work under difficult circumstance & pressure
✓ At ease with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate or advance)

Technical/Professional Competencies:

✓ The candidate must have a First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field
✓ S/He must have demonstrated a minimum of 1 year experience in a challenging working environment
✓ The candidate must have a prior experience within an analytical space
✓ Prior experience in the telecoms industry is an added advantage but not a requirement
