Job Description
A reputable Pharmaceutical Company needs a Business Unit Lead for immediate employment.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market.
A proven track record in sales and marketing and able to demonstrate a deep knowledge of the industry.
They will be a strategic thinker with the ability to think outside the box and produce creative solutions to problems.
The Role
Develop and implement business strategy for their Business Units.
Coordinate the commercial strategy with Business operations, Country Manager, human resource management, finance, marketing, regulatory, and administration
Collaborate with the commercial manager on strategic initiatives.
Manage Business unit marketing and sales strategies, increasing brand recognition and awareness while maintaining relationships with customers, retailers, and suppliers.
Create and implement effective business unit plans and Develop opportunities for business unit portfolio expansion.
Develop business unit teams by recruiting, training, and motivating and setting and keeping standards for business unit optimum
PERFORMANCE
Develop and execute business unit plans and strategies, including budgeting, budgeting forecasts, and resource allocation.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business administration, or related field.
A master’s degree in Business will be an advantage
5+ years’ proven experience in a leadership or management role; preferably in the pharmaceutical industry in Ghana
Excellent budgeting and forecasting skills.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
