A receptionist at our hotel plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure they feel valued and cared for.
- Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded.
- Provide guests with information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle administrative duties such as maintaining guest records, processing payments, and creating invoices.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Gather and address guest feedback to improve service quality and resolve issues promptly.
Qualification
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service role or front desk position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, as needed.
